Terms of Service

Last updated: 11/10/2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Repository Access Portal ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Educational Purpose

This Service is provided for educational purposes only. It is an educational project developed by Jonas Weinert and is intended to facilitate access to private educational repositories for authorized course participants.

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service.

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to repositories
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

4. GitHub Authentication

The Service uses GitHub OAuth for authentication. By using the Service, you authorize us to access your GitHub account information necessary to provide the Service. We do not store your GitHub credentials. After a successful repository invitation is sent, your GitHub OAuth access token is automatically revoked for security purposes. You can also revoke access at any time through your GitHub account settings.

5. Repository Access

Access to repositories is granted at the discretion of repository owners. The Service facilitates the invitation process but does not guarantee access. Repository owners maintain full control over their repositories and may revoke access at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
